There are essential nutrients we all require for good health; protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. To eat healthily, we should all be consuming a diet made up of whole, unprocessed foods, free from additives and preservatives.
We all know that right? However, in reality diets are often predominantly made up of manufactured, processed foods containing high levels of additives, preservatives, refined carbohydrates and sugars. And of course caffeine and alcohol.
Although these foods are convenient, relatively inexpensive and temptingly tasty, they are unlikely to be providing our bodies with the essential nutrients it requires to maintain our health.
Your body is amazing and adapts to the demands you place on it, however it can only take so much. If you have a variety of symptoms that simply can’t be explained, listen to your body. Take a look at your diet – changes, however small, can help. Provide your body with the nutrients it requires to keep you healthy, for longer.
